Icon tutorial 2

Hey yo! ^^ ok. Today we are going to make another icon which uses textures and other kind of gradient. So get ready!
Open up your fireworks or another programme that allows you to resize your image. And your image.



Now, resize it by using ctrl + t . Make it smaller until you are happy with it.



Then, open up your canvas size and change the pixels to 100 x 100



After you are done with it, open up yr photoshop and make a new layer. And image> apply image



Make the layer soft light



Add this gradient that i found on celestial-star.net and adjust to hard light



Then add this texture that i also downloaded from celestial-star.net and set it to hard light 38% fill




After that, play around with the colour balance and brightness and contrast. It will make icon look even nicer There you go! ^^ Your finally product~
